Leaves fallen, in colour still
and on the trees by glorious will -
Adorning nature, bursting galore
Displays of the colour wheel
surrounded by caramel, mustard, apple -
shades in the form of leaves -
stepping aside for what lay beneath -
my boots and cords on this walk -
the wind picks up speed as the sky clears
sunlight gleaming on this blessed day
