Sprung from one root we all are,
but we have the tendency
to forget our depth.
Winter is approaching,
so take root in us, deeply Lord.
Shield us from the bitter chill
of Winter. Graft us in, down
deep in the roots of
what we know.
Warm our frozen hearts;
warm us to our cores;
help us remember Your
love and warmth that You offer.
Fold us into Yourself.
